SEMCAC SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM

Mission Statement: Promote the independence, dignity, good health and nutritional well-being of older persons.

Northfield Senior Dining offers meals at 11:30 am Monday - Friday, Room SS105 of the Northfield Community Resource Center, 1651 Jefferson Parkway, Northfield, MN 55057

Who Can Dine?

Anyone age 60 and over is welcome. Spouses are automatically included regardless of age.

Is There a Charge for the Meal?

Diners are given the opportunity to donate toward the cost of the meal. Donation guidelines are currently $3 per meal for those over age 60. Diners under age 60 may attend for a charge of $5.  No one is denied a meal because he or she is unable to contribute. Food Stamps/EBT cards are welcome.

Do I Need a Reservation?

Yes.  Call 507-664-3735 and leave a message before 8 AM with your name and the date you wish to dine.  You may also sign up at the dining site.

Funding

Semcac Senior Dining is funded in part with Federal and State monies under a contract with the Southeastern Minnesota Area agency on Aging.  Local and participant monies support the program as well.

The service, facility and benefits of this program are for the use of all older people regardless of race, color, sex, religion, disability, or national origin.
