Memberships in Northfield Senior Citizens are available to adults 50 and older. If one member of a couple is 50 or older, both may become members. All memberships include drop-in use of Senior Center lounge, alcove computer, monthly newsletter, and information and referrals for aging services. A variety of membership options are available for seniors who wish to use the Wellness Center.  A new dues structure is announced at the beginning of September each year. Memberships are effective for 12 months from the month of purchase.

The fee for options 1 and 2 below must be paid as a single, annual payment. The fee for options 3 through 6 may be paid as a single, annual payment or by twelve monthly automatic transfers of funds from a checking account. See staff for monthly amounts.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP OPTION 1: AFFILIATE: 80 years+
Individual: $30/yr            Couple: $48/yr
Affiliate members pay $2.00 per use of the Wellness Center pool or the Fitness Room during open use periods. Use of the pool or Fitness Room includes use of the whirlpool. Fees for classes are extra.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP OPTION 2: GENERAL: 50-79 years
Individual: $40/yr            Couple: $65/yr
General members pay $2.00 per use of the Wellness Center pool or the Fitness Room during open use periods. Use of the pool or Fitness Room includes use of the whirlpool. Fees for classes are extra.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP OPTION 3: SILVER
Individual: $115/yr   
Couple: $200/yr   
Silver members pay $1.00 per use of the Wellness Center pool or the Fitness Room during open use periods. Use of the pool or Fitness Room includes use of the whirlpool. Fees for classes are extra.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP OPTION 4: AQUATIC or FITNESS
Individual: $225/yr   
Couple: $400/yr   
Aquatic memberships include unlimited use of open periods in the pool and whirlpool. Fitness memberships include unlimited use of Fitness Room and whirlpool. Aquatic members pay $2.00 per use of the Fitness Room. Fitness members pay $2.00 per use of the pool. Fees for classes are extra.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP OPTION 5: GOLD
Individual: $300/yr  
Couple: $520/yr   
Gold memberships include unlimited use of open periods in the pool, whirlpool, and Fitness Room. Fees for classes are extra.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP OPTION 6: PLATINUM
Individual: $425/yr   
Couple: $725/yr   
Platinum memberships include unlimited use of open periods in the pool, whirlpool, and Fitness Room. Fees for most classes are included, except Elder Collegium, computer classes, special events and trips, Driver Improvement classes, personal lessons and services.

PUNCH CARDS
Punch cards are available for purchase for both open use and class use for membership levels that require an additional fee for usage. Punch cards are available for non-member seniors who wish to use the facility on a short term basis at $5 a time.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships for those with special financial needs are available through the Senior Center Director. Some health insurance programs will provide partial coverage of Fitness Room and pool fees.

SIGN UP PROCEDURE

Pick up a membership form at the reception desk in the Senior Center lobby or click the button to print the form. Fill it in and return it to the reception desk together with the appropriate fee.
